What is "Company"?
A "Company" at our theatre camp is an inclusive group that provides a supportive and engaging environment for your child's artistic journey. Each Company is distinguished by a color and is specifically designed for different age groups, ensuring an age-appropriate and enriching experience for every student. Company's are also divided by theatre focus: Acting or Musical Theatre. You already signed up for your Company when you registered.
Students spend 2.5 hours a day in COMPANY rehearsals - one hour each morning (9 AM - 10:30 AM) and 2 hours in the afternoon (2:30 PM - 3:30 PM).
Throughout the camp, Company members will engage in a variety of exciting activities, workshops, and rehearsals. They'll have the chance to immerse themselves in their chosen genre, working on scenes, songs, dances, and performances that align with their artistic interests and abilities.
At the end of the camp, each Company will showcase their hard work and talent, offering a memorable performance that celebrates their growth and achievements.
What are the Electives?
Every student takes three elective courses each day - one in the morning and two in the afternoon. On the final day of the session, students share what they have worked on during an informal showcase we call Open Share.
